Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Game Player

Leading up to Christmas time I found this hand held system on the shelves of a local Rite-Aid along with “As Seen on TV” merchandise. The retail price was only $40. Immediately, I knew that I wanted this device and told my wife that she needed to buy it for me for Christmas.

Oddly enough of the eighty games that this device holes the only games that I cared about were

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Sonic and Knuckles

Yet between the time I first learned of this handle held systems existence and Christmas time I found myself less and less interested in the system to ultimately not wanting it. For the three games I wanted it seemed pointless to have a handheld system burdened with 77 other games I didn’t want.

Wouldn’t it just be easier to download a Sega Genesis Emulator and the three games?

Wouldn’t it just be easier to buy the games from the Wii store and play them on the Wii?

  1. I like the idea of it because it is portable. 🙂 I think I’d use it a lot when I’m laying down and Josh is on the computer. I miss games like Sonic, Altered Beast, Kid Chameleon and Golden Axe. It will be mineee!
